Description

This old straight keris is from Bali. The blade is 300 years old. The pamor is Ngulit Semongko. The main magical strength of pamor Kulit Semangka is making more flexible the ambulatory with people from all kinds. Moreover magical strength contributes to the fact that one comes on a simple manner to the costs. This keris has a simple gandik. The ganja is mbatok mengkureb.

The warangka is srengatan style and painted with kamasan or sungging painting. In the past only the priests of the highest class were allowed to wear krisses with this warangka. The length is 16 ¼ inches (41 cm). The handle is bondolan style with sungging painting. The length is 4 inches (10 cm). The mendak is made of brass and decorated with colored stones.

The length of the blade is 13 ½ inches (34 cm) and the total length is 20 ¾ inches (53 cm).
