Although the appearance of this dapur is quite simple, it is very popular because historically Sempana keris was reserved for royal servants, senior government officials and nobles. Sempana literally means 'true dreams' or dreams that come true. Sempana in a deeper sense is a message, wishful thinking, hopes, ideals and desires when they are based on a true understanding that they become reality. The Kembang Kacang under the Ganja symbolizes an elephant's trunk. In ancient Indonesian mythology the God Ganesha, the elephant God, who symbolized knowledge, always inhaling knowledge with her trunk.Keris with Sempana dapur will help the owner of the keris to realize his dreams, ideals and desires by constantly acquiring knowledge and using this knowledge to realize his dreams, goals and desires. The pamor is Pedaringan Kebak. Pamor Pedaringan Kebak is believed to have the power to make it easier for its owner to find happiness in accordance with the philosophy of its name. “Pedaringan” is a place for storing rice, commonly used by Javanese people in ancient times, while “Kebak” means “full”. So, Pedaringan Kebak can be interpreted as “a place/container of rice that is always full” to symbolize prosperity. The Pamor Pedaringan Kebak is also a message to a man that the duties and responsibilities of a householder are to ensure that his family does not lack clothing, food and shelter. Whether the Pedaringan is empty or full is the responsibility of the head of the household. In other words, a man (head of household) must be able to guarantee that his family's life will be successful.This dapur has a simple gandik without a kembang kacang. The ganja is Mbatok Mengkureb with greneng and pamor. 

The warangka is ladrang Yogyakarta style and made of medium brown stained timoho peled wood. The pendok is a pendok bunton made of golden colored metal with motifs on the front side. The hilt is made of dark brown wood in Yogyakarta style with the typical carvings. The mendak is made of copper and decorated with some white stones like zirkonia.  

The length of the blade is 14 ¼ inches (36 cm) and the total length is 19 ¼ inches (49 cm).
