This old straight keris estiamted the dapur Tilam Upih. Tilam Upih in Javanese terminology means a mat of woven leaves for sleeping, meant to indicate the comfort of a family or household. Therefore, many Pusaka Keris were passed down from generation to generation with the Dapur Tilam Upih. This shows the hope of the family elders that their children and grandchildren can find peace and prosperity in married life. In the past, parents passed the Keris Tilam Upih to their married children from generation to generation, which means parents pray for their children so that their family life may be good, noble and prosperous. Tilam Upih is also a symbol of hope for prosperous life. Tilam Upih is also called the mother of all keris. According to a story long ago, Sunan Kalijaga once suggested to his followers that the first keris that existed was the Tilam Upih keris. I suppose the tangguh is Tuban Mataram (1294-1474). The pamors are Wengkon Isen and Tunggak Semi. The magical strength of the pamor Wengkon can be different. Some krisses have protections for the owner against bad things, disaster, black magic, and wild animals. Other krisses help the owner to enlarge economy and ownership and reduce the waste of things. Others proctect against heart damages. Pamor Wengkon is often a combination with another pamor motif. A Wengkon keep the property of the pamor motif. This pamor is located on the Sor-Soran of a keris or Tombak or another Pusaka weapon. It is believed that the supernatural power brings amplification for another pamor that exists on the Keris. It is sought after by traders because it is believed that it has the magic power to help them in their dealings. It is a very old pamor and it can easily be confused with Batu Lapak This dapur has a simple gandik. The ganja is mbatok mengkureb.

The warangka is gayaman Yogyakarta style and made of old timoho wood with belang sapi motif. The handle is made of medium brown wood in Yogyakarta style.
