This antique straight keris comes from the dapur Jalak Nguwuh. The Mynah bird (Jalak) is often considered a symbol of joy, happiness, loyalty and responsibility. Similar to the Mynah bird that wakes up early to look for food, Keris Jalak Nguwuh owners are expected to be energetic, adaptable and communicative. The mynah bird does not disturb other birds while foraging and exhibits mutually beneficial behavior (symbiotic relationship). This is reflected in the keris, which protects its owner from negative influences without harming others. The keris Jalak Nguwuh is associated with social success and the ability to adapt. The spiritual power is said to assist the owner in expanding their social network and help them be liked by others. In addition, the keris is also believed to help in raising money and achieving goals. The keris Jalak Nguwuh is therefore not only a masterpiece of craftsmanship, but also a symbol of positive qualities and spiritual purity. He reminds us that our actions and attitudes influence our lives and that through positive qualities we can live a fulfilling life. I estimate the tangguh to be Sultan Agung (1613 – 1645). The pamor is Beras Wutah. Philosophically, Beras Wutah/Wos Wutah describes the hopes and desires of the master who makes the keris, so Beras Wutah is often associated with the desire for a rich harvest or a more prosperous life. And nowadays Beras Wutah/Wos Wutah means a symbol of good fortune and abundant income. The power of a keris with the pamor Beras Wutah represents good luck or prosperity. This dapur has a simple gandik. The ganja is mbatok mengkureb.

The old warangka is in the ladrang Surakarta style made of timoho wood pelet sampir. The pendok is a gold colored pendok blewahan. The old handle is made of dark brown wood in Surakarta style. The mendak is made of silver.
