This novel straight keris Bethok comes from the dapur Mahesa Kebo Teki. A keris Kebo Teki has the philosophical meaning of a buffalo undergoing the Tedek practice, or also known as the practice of mortification (asceticism). Spiritually, Kebo (buffalo) is often perceived as a guiding figure. As a panuntun, Kebo (buffalo) is said to have a strong and large physique, to work hard, to be loyal and patient. In addition, the ancient parents inherited local wisdom and ancestral traditions in the agricultural sector, which considered buffalo as “Rojokoyo,” meaning “Rojo” means king and “Koyo” means rich. So the meaning is that the buffalo is understood as a “king” to achieve multiple results (e.g. plowing the fields). Therefore, it is not surprising that from a materialistic point of view, the Ox provides optimism in life. The Kebo Teki keris is a vision of its owner who wants to realize ease of life, security in the world and the hereafter, and prosperity for his descendants. I appreciate the tangguh in Kamardikan. The pamor is Dwiwarna consisting of pamor Batu Lapak and Ngulit Semangka. Pamor Batu Lapak has a magical power that ward off danger and facilitate self-defense techniques. The pamor Ngulit Semangka is believed to be able to expand associations, be popular with everyone and make it easier for the owner to seek happiness. If we get along well with each other and are liked by many people, the door to happiness is basically wide open for us, because opportunities can come from anywhere. There are also those who argue that the stripe motifs on the pamor of Ngulit Semangka are like different roads/paths leading to a destination. It is a message that we should not allow ourselves to be discouraged from achieving our goals and hopes in this life. The kembang kacang is intact and the ganja is mbatok mengkureb.

The warangka is sandang walikat style made of medium brown wood. The handle is in narada kandha style made of the same wood. The mendak is made of gold-colored brass with white zirconia.
