This antique straight keris comes from the dapur Kebo Lajer, also called Mahesa Lajer. The keris with the dapur Kebo Lajer/Mahesa Lajer has the meaning and hope that the owner of this keris can have the spirit of a buffalo who works tirelessly to support his family. The tuah of keris Kebo Lajer is believed to be able to ward off disease outbreaks. Because of this belief, many farmers and breeders owned the keris in the past because they believed that the Kebo Lajer keris could ward off attacks from plant pests and disease outbreaks that could affect livestock.  Apart from this, it is also believed that the keris Kebo Lajer can improve the livelihood of farmers, fertilize crops so that the harvest is abundant, and also prevent disease outbreaks in farm animals so that they can reproduce well without being affected by disease outbreaks can cause death in livestock. I estimate the tangguh to be Mataram (1582-1749). The pamor is Ngulit Semangka. The pamor Ngulit Semangka is believed to be able to expand associations, be popular with everyone and make it easier for the owner to seek happiness.
