This antique straight keris comes from the dapur Tilam Upih. Tilam Upih in Javanese terminology means a mat of woven leaves for sleeping, meant to indicate the comfort of a family or household. Therefore, many Pusaka krisses were passed down from generation to generation with the Dapur Tilam Upih. This shows the hope of the family elders that their children and grandchildren can find peace and prosperity in married life. In the past, parents passed the Keris Tilam Upih to their married children from generation to generation, which means parents pray for their children so that their family life may be good, noble and prosperous. Tilam Upih is also a symbol of hope for prosperous life. Tilam Upih is also called the mother of all keris. According to a story long ago, Sunan Kalijaga once suggested to his followers that the first keris that existed was the Tilam Upih keris. I estimate the tangguh to be late Singasari or early Majapahit (13th century). The pamor is Pedaringan Kebak. Pamor Pedaringan Kebak is believed to have the power to make it easier for its owner to find happiness in accordance with the philosophy of its name. “Pedaringan” is a place for storing rice, commonly used by Javanese people in ancient times, while “Kebak” means “full”. So, Pedaringan Kebak can be interpreted as “a place/container of rice that is always full” to symbolize prosperity. The Pamor Pedaringan Kebak is also a message to a man that the duties and responsibilities of a householder are to ensure that his family does not lack clothing, food and shelter. Whether the Pedaringan is empty or full is the responsibility of the head of the household. In other words, a man (head of household) must be able to guarantee that his family's life will be successful. This dapur has a simple gandik. The ganja is mbatok mengkureb.

The warangka is in the gayaman Surakarta style made of old trembalo wood. The old pendok is a pendok bunton. The handle is made of black wood in Surakarta style. The entire keris is original.
