This antique straight keris comes from the dapur Bethok Sombro Jaka Suro. I estimate the tangguh to be Majapahit (1294 – 1474). The pamor is Tunggak Semi. This pattern of pamor Tunggak Semi is not just a simple ornament but carries a deeper meaning that embodies the spirit of optimism. The word “Tunggak” refers to a tree trunk that has been felled or fallen, while “Semi” refers to growing or sprouting. Thus, the pamor Tunggak Semi symbolizes ever-living hope. It resembles a tree that is currently growing and unfolding, and is located exactly at the lower part of the blade, indicating something growing from below and developing into something large. The Tuah (spirital power) of the pamor Tunggak Semi is considered to be a facilitator of prosperity. It is an energy that associates the owner with blessings, accelerates progress in business, brings material abundance and promotes economic stability. In summary, the pamor Tunggak Semi means that even if something has fallen, it can always grow and bloom again to take the place of the previously felled tree. This also reflects life: even in times of defeat, there is always hope for recovery and renewed growth. The tuah of krisses with pamor Tunggak Semi is believed to help the owner to blossom again like a tree and continually increase his wealth, similar to a tree that grows, spreads and eventually bears fruit.  This dapur has a simple gandik. The ganja is mbatok mengkureb.

The warangka is in the Sandang Walikat style made of dark brown wood. The handle is Surakarta style made of black wood.
