This ancient sword or pedang comes from the dapur Suduk Maru or also known as Lar Bango. The blade of the pedang Suduk Maru is shorter and lighter than that of the pedang Sabet. The shape of the blade is slightly curved downward, and both sides are sharp and pointed. The pedang Suduk Maru was primarily used for stabbing and inflicting deep wounds. Its name suggests that it was designed for this purpose. The Tuah (magical power) of the pedang Suduk Maru lies in the ability to bestow courage and supernatural strength. These powers were activated through special prayers and rituals during the making of the swords. The owner of this sword believes that he is protected and strengthened by the Tuah. The warangka is made of dark brown timoho wood and is decorated with some silver-colored clamps. The handle is made of kemuning wood.
