This badik with damascus blade comes from Makasar, Sulawesi. The pamor is Kurissi, also known as Bulu Merak. Krisses with the pamor kurissi are often considered something special and have that certain tuah. Some people believe that this pamor brings blessings and protection.

The scabbard is made of dark brown wood with silver-colored decorations. The handle is made of dark brown wood.
