The warangka is in the kojongan style made of areng wood in combination with sterling silver. It is 11 ¾ inches (30 cm) long. The handle is Wisnu style made of areng wood. It is 4 inches (10 cm) long. Wisnu is one of the most important gods in Hinduism and is considered the protector of the universe. He is also known as the God of time and the Protector of Good. The name Wisnu means “the omnipresent” or “the one present everywhere.” The selut is made of sterling silver with rubies.
