This ancient pedang or sword comes from the dapur Suduk Maru, also called Lar Bango. The blade of the pedang Suduk Maru is shorter and lighter than that of the pedang Sabet. The shape of the blade is slightly curved downward, and both sides are sharp and pointed. The Pedang Suduk Maru was primarily used for stabbing and inflicting deep wounds. Its name suggests that it was designed for this purpose. The Tuah (magical power) of the Pedang Suduk Maru lies in the ability to bestow courage and supernatural strength. These powers were activated through special prayers and rituals during the making of the swords. The owner of this sword believes that he is protected and strengthened by the Tuah. In Indonesian culture, these swords are viewed not only as weapons, but also as valuable heirlooms with spiritual value. They are a symbol of bravery, strength and protection. I estimate the tangguh to be Mataram Hamengu Buwono V (1820 – 1823). The pamor is Beras Wutah made of meteorite material. Philosophically, Beras Wutah/Wos Wutah describes the hopes and desires of the master who makes the keris, so Beras Wutah is often associated with the desire for a rich harvest or a more prosperous life. And nowadays Beras Wutah/Wos Wutah means a symbol of good fortune and abundant income. The Tuah (mystical power) of a keris with the pamor Beras Wutah represents good luck or prosperity.

The warangka is made of wood and decorated with silver. The handle is decorated with silver. The pedang is original as it was found.
