This new handle is made of fiber material (resin). It is harder than wood. The handle style is locally called sandang walikat. It is from Madura and is decorated with foliage on the top part and the swastika motif at the base.

The length is 3.3 in (8.5 cm), the width 2 in (5 cm) and the opening for the pesi has a diameter of 0.2 in (0.5 cm). The weight is 3.2 oz (90 grams).
